The Mayor and Council for the Borough of Bernville are aware of the incident that occurred in the Borough today involving an officer of the Police Department who was injured while responding to the incident.  It is the understanding of the Borough that the injuries were not life threatening.  The incident is being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police and any questions should be directed to them.  As this is an ongoing investigation, the Borough will not comment further at this time.
